The word “SANCTION” has two opposite meaning: It can mean approval and can also mean disapproval. During our last political campaigns and the subsequent ill-fated foisting and imposition of Uhuru and Ruto upon the Nation of Kenya, this word was uttered and printed many times, unfortunately,as it is, it meant two different things to the opposing political divide. But today as Kenyans ponder Uhuru’s ignoble Brussels trip, the true meaning of the word, as appertains his presidency, has crystallized:(Airport to Hotel, Photo shoot with 3 Presidents – Conference Center, no reserved Seat for him, back to the Hotel, Airport, overflew Nairobi to Rwanda, back home). we all remember two other debilitating foreign trips: 1. On 5 May 2013, at the mandatory invitation by PM David Cameron, he attended a conference in London on Somalia, which had been crafted before the elections; on his arrival there was no Guard of Honour to inspect, insteadUhuru was hustled through the Cargo back gate like illicit contraband, later we were treated to the Theatre of the Absurd by his followers as they Photoshopped images to proof that he had a glorious handshake from PM Cameron. 2. In June 2013, Uhuru’s handlers planned a 3 week tour of Eastern Europe, calculated to give a “snub shock” to Obama who was visiting Africa, the East Europeans and China refused to entertain him so he had to find some other reason to go to Russia. He later took advantage of the Summer Olympics in Moscow. He was forced to land in a small Airport,an equivalent of Garisa Airstrip and the Russian Police were at hand and ransacked every luggage he was carrying – worse still President Vladimir Putin refused to meet him. Since these travel shenanigans are becoming too costly to the Kenyan taxpayer, I join other Kenyans of goodwill to ask: What part of the word “SANCTIONS” don’t the President and his avaricious butch of soothsayers understand?
