You owe Ruto, pay back the debt-president Uhuru told

President Uhuru Kenyatta has no choice other than to back his deputy William Ruto in 2022, a section of Rift Valley leaders have said. Mr. Ruto has geared up his campaigns to succeed Uhuru, with a section of his handlers reading mischief in handshake between the president and opposition leader Raila Odinga. Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei, Governor Stephen Sang and vocal Senate Majority Leader said Ruto deserves the President's support because he 'stood with him during trial moment'. "We are reading a lot in newspapers. Ruto backed your unconditionally in 2013 and 2017. Kindly reciprocate the same in 2022," Murkomen said at Kapsabet on Sunday. Mr. Sang added: "You Excellency you said that you'll take your ten years then Ruto. We are hopeful that you will not betray your own statements." Squabbles have rocked Jubilee party from within after the handshake with a section of leaders allied to the president's team accusing Ruto of distabilizing the cou

ABOUT TO DATE OR MARRY? HERE’S WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW!

You’ve probably heard it before that you should look very well before you get into a relationship or marriage because if you don’t, you just may end up settling with the wrong person. Well, I have to say I agree with this statement or believe very much, however, as much as you have that mindset, it’s also important to know that there isn’t one person who is perfect. I am not saying you should settle for less than you want in your ideal man, however, do not live in a fantasy world where you think that there are people without a flaw because you’ll just end up getting disappointed. What you do not see in the one man, you’ll likely see in another. It’s possible that this man doesn’t drink or smoke or womanise, but could be a woman beater or have one nasty attitude or habit. It is also possible he isn’t a woman beater, but he is secretive or puts work ahead of his loved ones. The same also applies to women – she may not cheat or lie, but she is probably an alcoholic or has some dark part t

KenyaTuitakayo: We declare our humanity and our dignity

#KenyaTuitakayo: We declare our humanity and our dignity By Dr @WM Njoya On this great occasion where we come to reaffirm the people as the center of Kenya in this People's Charter, my fear is that it is not specific enough. We live in a neoliberal age where the language of progressives, language about rights and pain with injustice, is hijacked by the oppressors from the oppressed. For instance, the president won the elections in 2013 by saying he was a victim of imperialism, until even those whose relatives were killed in the crimes for which he was charged pitied him. Sonko has got as far as he has got in politics by presenting himself as a victim of unnamed powerful enemies. Ruto is running on a ticket of being a hustler and the only main contender who was not born into a rich family. Every time we who fight for the people define a problem, the politicians pick it up. Before the selections last year, we were talking about social mobility and wanting a country where nobody has

The seven rules of life

Do opposition politicians make unrealistic promises

Do opposition politicians make unrealistic promises during campaigns that they can’t keep when they get into power? Or Do opposition politicians get assimilated into power and it’s trappings that they forget about the promises they make to the people, once they get it power? These are the two questions for which I seek an answer. Case in point is India, Nigeria, and Ghana. 80% of Indians now say PM Modi is the most corrupt in the history of India and his policies like higher taxes has continued to make more Indians poor, contrary to promises he made during the campaigns. In Ghana, they are now calling Nannah Addo, “Mr. Incompetent.” Many have failed to see the promises he made while campaigning to be president. We all know about how Tony Chinedu was excited about Buhari when he came to power and how the Nigerians are feeling now. Do we ask too much of our opposition politicians that they must lie about what they will deliver for us to put them into power? Or once they taste the sweetne

Missionary work has near zero retirement......

Missionary work has near zero retirement...... “Prof Kibwana had triggered an online conversation about his life after public office after publishing a photo which seemed to suggest he was retiring from politics. “Public life is a life of service; it is missionary work. In Makueni we listen to one another so that we can build consensus on how we want to develop. I enjoy sitting, talking and walking with our people. When I leave public life, I will dearly miss this aspect of my public political life,” reads the caption accompanying the photo.” And if there is any retirement, it will be domiciled at the State House soon. Can those of the same opinion say ayes.....Missionary work has near zero retirement...... “Prof Kibwana had triggered an online conversation about his life after public office after publishing a photo which seemed to suggest he was retiring from politics. “Public life is a life of service; it is missionary work. president Moi 2022 factor

Via Wambui Nginya #Wisdom Before the elections, his excellency the retired president Daniel Moi requested the Sugoi hustler to go see him so that he bless him, actually to spit some saliva on him as a way of blessing him, unfortunately the proud and arrogant side of the sugoi hustler sent a very very humiliating reply to the aging president. He thought the man was insignificant and he had all that he requires to get whatever he want and he required no validation or blessings from anyone.   Months later, although the sugoi hustler is remorseful for his deeds, the aging president hasn't forgiven him and he won't have a sitting with him. So when i see leaders so happy visiting of the former president, i tap my chest slowly and say i will forever remain humble and i will forever be grateful to the great men and women who molded me to who i am.

SPARE THE YOUNG ADULTS WHO WISH TO GET MARRIED FROM UNNECESSARY STRESS!

By Reuben Kigame  This appeal is made primarily to parents and religious institutions. There are a lot of young men and women who wish to enter the marriage institution but are scared to death because: 1. They are made to believe that they must have an expensive wedding for a marriage to begin well; 2. They are made to believe that they must have their ceremony in Church or other religious hall with lots of witnesses or theirs would not be blessed; 3. They are made to believe that they should never have sinned in their lives because marriage is only for the sinless;  4. They are made to believe that they must have a huge sum of money for dowry before marrying. As soon as the term “wedding” is mentioned, many young people cringe and no longer desire to commit faithfully to the necessary preparation because the ceremony is made tough and expensive. Most of the young people believe that a good wedding is impossible and when they think it is possible, they already begin to put in place wha

Life is just a trip!

Life is just a trip! To understand it, you have to visit these 3 places: - the Hospital - The Prison - The Cemetery At the hospital, you will understand that nothing is more beautiful than health. In Prison, you will see that liberty is the most precious thing. In the cemetery you will realize that life is worthless, the ground on which we walk today will be our roof tomorrow. Let us make the effort to remain humble and live by grace. Try to laugh at least once a day For nothing in this world is eternal, not even our problems! Live today!!!!
