TO LIVE OR TO DIE

By Dr Paul Bundi Human beings are endowed with remarkable resilience, which can only be broken when they choose to give up. Says Viktor Frankl in his seminal book, Man's Search for Meaning; ''it is a peculiarity of man that he can only live by looking to the future-sub specie aeternitatis. And this is his salvation in thd most difficult moments of his existence, although he sometimes has to force his mind to the task.'' Man's life is primarily driven by the desire for future, the unshakable belief that the future holds promise. We invariably cease to live when we think we have hit a dead end, or that there's nothing more to be had by living. Theoretically, there is no limit to man's achievement, and that is what drives men to wake up and strive day after day. The opposite is spiritual, psychological death, which manifests way ahead of physical death. Lesson? Losing today doesn't mean losing always. You can lose 10 times and win the 11th time. Or, you...

Don't blame president Uhuru Kenyatta on rampant corruption in kenya

If my religious studies on christianity serves me right,Adam and Eve beside having been created and placed in the garden of Eden by God,it never took long before they violated God's command thus committing the first sin according to the holy bible.Does it mean God is to be blamed for the sin committed by his own creation?Did God fail to stop this very first sin from happening? Lemmi leave that to christianity study students and believers to come up with concrete opinion.
What of the case where parents raise their son, instilling on him all good morals only to turn a robber on growing up.Does it mean the parents should be held responsible of the crimes committed by their son?
It is the duty of the president of Kenya to guard and protect the constitution that is undisputable, but what happens when some greedy citizens decide to violate this supreme document of the land and involves themselves in corrupt practises? It's only the constitutionally established institutions like EACC which is mandated to conduct investigations and prosecute the corrupt individuals.
Unless we want to mean corruption is institutionalized in Kenya, whereby civil servants in the lower hierarchy receive orders from their seniors to perform this evil act,but frankly speaking this isn't the case.people involve themselves in corrupt practices to satisfy their sole selfish interests just like the case of Adam and Eve.
With this in mind,The opposition in Kenya led by former premier Raila Odinga got no moral authority to blame president Uhuru Kenyatta for rampant corruption Kenya is currently facing, instead they should blame, expose and shame individual corrupt citizens. since the president is not personally liable for evils being committed by these corrupt selfish individuals.Adam sinned against God,who is Uhuru?
Lets us stand United and say no to this monster called corruption and stop the blame game which sole motive is to make political gains to satisfy some few greedy selfish individuals pretending to be angels.donate2.jpgdonate1.jpg
