Interesting things to know about the towel

How often do you wash your towel? Some people wash once a week, while some, once a year. The towel is a fertile breeding ground for millions of microbes, especially those found on human skin and on the gut.  No wonder the towel is one of the objects that facilitate fecal-oral contamination (literally connecting the two ends of the gut).  Worse still, most people keep towels in the bathroom (near the toilet). Every flush of the toilet sends mist with millions of microbes, ranging from H.pylori,  salmonella and other deadly bacteria and viruses. When you wash your hands ready for a meal, and dry them with your body towel, there's high chance you are directly ingesting your fecal matter, or, if in a shared lavatory, someone else's faeces. Unless cleaned well, viruses such as human papillomavirus (causes warts, anal cancer and cervical cancer) can be transmitted when towels are shared with infected individuals. So, what to do? 1. Launder towels once a week. 2. Use hot water and det...

WAYS IN WHICH FEAR HOLDS YOU FROM SUCCEEDING

These are some of the ways fear stops you from being a success.
1. FEAR COULD KILL YOUR SELF-BELIEF
Self-belief is a necessary ingredient for success. A lot of successful people were mocked at in the beginning, but their self-belief helped them through and they became a success.
Self-belief gives you that passion to continue even when the odds are against you. However, when fear steps in, you lose that belief — and it becomes almost impossible to succeed when you don’t even believe.
2. THE FEAR OF FAILURE
A lot of people have been held bound just because of the fair of failure; a lot of potential, a lot of ideas and a lot of thinking has been stuck in some people’s mind, simply because they are afraid it wouldn’t work.
Just imagine if Bill Gates let the fear of failure hold him bound or President Obama succumbed to the fear of failure; they surely wouldn’t have been successful.
3. FEAR OF WHAT PEOPLE WOULD SAY
A lot of people are afraid of living their lives or following their dreams simply because they are afraid of what people would say. When you fear what people would say or how they would react then you kill that belief or desire to push for that which you want.
4. FEAR COULD HOLD YOU FROM TRYING AGAIN
Some goals aren’t achieved at the first try; sometimes, you have to fail, learn from your mistakes and try again. But when you let fear in; fear would give you many reasonable excuses why you should succumb, and when you succumb to it that would be the death of that dream.
5. FEAR COULD MAKE YOU PLAY IT SAFE
Great successes come with great risks, but fear would make you sceptical; fear would make you want to play it safe, fear would want you to shun the risk, and when you give in to this fear, you would rarely succeed big at what you do.
6. EXCUSES
Do not give in to fear; fear would give you over a thousand excuses why it wouldn’t work, and this would make you live a life of excuses. Excuses would only lead to failure and stagnation.
“If we doubted our Fears instead of doubting our dreams, Imagine how much in life we’d accomplish” — Joel Brown
