Interesting things to know about the towel

How often do you wash your towel? Some people wash once a week, while some, once a year. The towel is a fertile breeding ground for millions of microbes, especially those found on human skin and on the gut.  No wonder the towel is one of the objects that facilitate fecal-oral contamination (literally connecting the two ends of the gut).  Worse still, most people keep towels in the bathroom (near the toilet). Every flush of the toilet sends mist with millions of microbes, ranging from H.pylori,  salmonella and other deadly bacteria and viruses. Whistling during President Uhuru's state of nation address is disrespect to the Presidency - MP Isaac Mwaura

Nominated MP Isaac Mwaura has condemned President Uhuru Kenyatta's annual State of the Nation interruption by loud whistling by some parliamentarians on Thursday. “I want to condemn in the strongest of terms the behaviour by a group of MPs in the manner in which they behaved in parliament,” part of the post read. In a post on his official Facebook account, Mwaura called on leaders to help unite the country and respect all institutions. “The institution of the presidency is the symbol of the unity of the nation and should be respected even if you may not like the occupant,” Mwaura said. “To be honest, that was a very dishonourable conduct that has just cost Hon Opiyo Wandayi his parliamentary seat.” The MP nominated by ODM was reacting after several Mps members of the Opposition MPs were thrown outby Speaker Justin Muturi for interrupting President Uhuru by whistling, forcing him to stop till order was restored. Mps who were thrown out include ODM national chairman John Mbadi, Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang and Homa Bay woman representative Gladys Wanga. Also among thrown out were Homa Bay Senator Moses Kajwang, Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo, Nyando MP Fred Outa and Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati.
