In the private sector, President Uhuru unfollowed Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore, PR Guru Gina Din Kariuki and Chris Kirubi. He unfollowed Jeff Koinange and all local TV stations.
In the international stage, notable people he unfollowed are British PM David Cameron, Rwanda’s Paul Kagame and Burundi’s Pierre Nkurunziza. Uhuru also unfollwed AU Commission Chairperson Dr. Nkolasi Zuma, IMF Fund head Christine Lagarde.
Locally, he has unfollowed US Ambassador Robert Godec.
He however retains President Barack Obama, Uganda’s Yoweri Museveni, Tanzania’s Dr. John Magufuli, France Francois Hollande, Nigeria’s Buhari, India PM Nenandra Modi and Japan’s Abe Shinzo.
The other international person he has retained is head of Africa Development Bank, the Nigerian banker Akinwumi Adesina.
President Uhuru has two twitter handles, @UKenyatta where he has slashed the hundreds he now unfollows and the institutional one, @PresidentKe, which is run by PSCU, and where he still follows over 100 individuals and entities.
