Interesting things to know about the towel

How often do you wash your towel? Some people wash once a week, while some, once a year. The towel is a fertile breeding ground for millions of microbes, especially those found on human skin and on the gut.  No wonder the towel is one of the objects that facilitate fecal-oral contamination (literally connecting the two ends of the gut).  Worse still, most people keep towels in the bathroom (near the toilet). Every flush of the toilet sends mist with millions of microbes, ranging from H.pylori,  salmonella and other deadly bacteria and viruses. When you wash your hands ready for a meal, and dry them with your body towel, there's high chance you are directly ingesting your fecal matter, or, if in a shared lavatory, someone else's faeces. Unless cleaned well, viruses such as human papillomavirus (causes warts, anal cancer and cervical cancer) can be transmitted when towels are shared with infected individuals. So, what to do? 1. SOME OF THE THINGS YOUR RELATIONSHIP NEEDS NOW

The key to a successful relationship is having
two partners who are ready to make the
relationship work. To make your relationship
work, here are five things your relationship needs
now.
1. SHARED RESPONSIBILITIES
A relationship with shared responsibilities is
more fulfilling and couples in relationships with
shared responsibilities are happier when
compared to other couples. It’s wrong when it’s
just one partner doing everything.
2. COUPLE TIME
You and your partner need to spend more time
alone. The married ones who have kids also
need to spend time alone without the kids.
Spending time alone with your partner is
important for your relationship as it helps
strengthen the bond and build more connections
between you and your partner.
3. BE EACH OTHER’S CHEERLEADER
Your relationship needs you to support your
partner and needs your partner to do same.
Avoid being negative and seeking every
opportunity to put your partner down. Quit
criticizing your partner. You have to be each
other’s biggest cheerleader. Your partner should
be able to turn to you when they are discouraged
and should also be happy to share with you when
they succeed. Learn to support your partner.
4. SET GOALS AS A COUPLE
Your relationship needs goals. You need to have
individual goals and goals as a couple. Setting
goals as a couple helps you feel secure in your
relationship. Trust is also built when you set
goals as a couple.
5. FREEDOM TO EXPRESS YOURSELF
Your relationship needs the freedom of each
partner to express themselves. You should be
able to express your feelings if you feel hurt and
not bottle up your feelings. You shouldn’t
confuse expressing yourself with yelling at your
partner.
