How often do you wash your towel? Some people wash once a week, while some, once a year. The towel is a fertile breeding ground for millions of microbes, especially those found on human skin and on the gut. No wonder the towel is one of the objects that facilitate fecal-oral contamination (literally connecting the two ends of the gut). Worse still, most people keep towels in the bathroom (near the toilet). Every flush of the toilet sends mist with millions of microbes, ranging from H.pylori, salmonella and other deadly bacteria and viruses. When you wash your hands ready for a meal, and dry them with your body towel, there's high chance you are directly ingesting your fecal matter, or, if in a shared lavatory, someone else's faeces. Unless cleaned well, viruses such as human papillomavirus (causes warts, anal cancer and cervical cancer) can be transmitted when towels are shared with infected individuals. So, what to do? 1. The social media is definitely one online space that has got the world going; it has added its own bit to the communication industry on a global level, it has made news and gossips fly round like wildfire, and it’s been a go-to place for people — where they keep in touch with the world, have fun and then retire for the day.
I mean the social media is a very important media and the world would feel very empty without it, but it also has its ills, and there should be careful consideration before you post certain things on social media.
1. YOUR WEALTH
You are a successful business executive or very successful in your chosen career, you have the world at your feet and you feel very satisfied and then you flaunt your wealth on social media. You should be wary of such an act because not everyone is happy at your success; some would hate you for your success and some would go beyond words to show their hatred.
2. YOUR RELATIONSHIP
It’s pretty normal to share your relationship on social media, but going on to flaunt it is a dangerous game with a lot of risks; your relationship could even become affected by it.
3. YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
There is a reason why the word personal should remain personal; social media is just not the ideal place to share your personal information.
4. YOUR EVERY EMOTION
It doesn’t just feel right to share every emotion you feel on Facebook and other social media platforms, especially your sad and unpleasant emotions. People could even make a mockery of you to worsen matters.
5. YOUR FINANCIAL INFORMATION
I mean it should never get to this stage. Whether you earn so much or so little, your financial information should be kept personal.
6. YOUR BODY
It might feel tempting to flaunt your body if you are sexy and good-looking, but anything that goes beyond a decent picture shouldn’t be posted or flaunted on social media.
As fun as social media could be, it doesn’t mean you should just let loose and live your entire life on it.
