Interesting things to know about the towel

How often do you wash your towel? Some people wash once a week, while some, once a year. The towel is a fertile breeding ground for millions of microbes, especially those found on human skin and on the gut.  No wonder the towel is one of the objects that facilitate fecal-oral contamination (literally connecting the two ends of the gut).  Worse still, most people keep towels in the bathroom (near the toilet). Every flush of the toilet sends mist with millions of microbes, ranging from H.pylori,  salmonella and other deadly bacteria and viruses. When you wash your hands ready for a meal, and dry them with your body towel, there's high chance you are directly ingesting your fecal matter, or, if in a shared lavatory, someone else's faeces. RAILA ODINGA to be probed by police over claims that KDF assisted UHURU/ RUTO in rigging march 4th 2013 general elections

uhuruto.jpg Former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, is currently swimming in murky waters, after the Director of Public Prosecutions, Keriako Tobiko, directed the Inspector General of Police, David Kimaiyo, to probe Raila Odinga over his allegations that Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) assisted in rigging last year’s Presidential poll. In his letter to the IG on Thursday, Tobiko says he received a written complaint from Kiharu MP, Irungu Kangata, dated January 28 concerning remarks allegedly made by Raila during a CORD rally in Kisumu earlier that month. The DPP also directed Kangata to present his informant to the Director of Criminal Investigations to make a formal complaint and record a statement so that full investigations may be commenced. In a letter to the DPP, Kangata said he received information from a man named, Pesa Shayo, who attended the said public rally at Jomo Kenyatta Grounds on or about January 17, where Raila Odinga uttered words to the effect that military personnel were used to eject CORD supporters from the Bomas of Kenya, to enable President Uhuru Kenyatta clinch victory. The informant also said he heard Raila Odinga tell a crowd that former President Mwai Kibaki was aware of rigging plans. Tobiko certified the matter as urgent and ordered Kimaiyo to probe Raila over the allegations.
