Interesting things to know about the towel

How often do you wash your towel? Some people wash once a week, while some, once a year. The towel is a fertile breeding ground for millions of microbes, especially those found on human skin and on the gut.  No wonder the towel is one of the objects that facilitate fecal-oral contamination (literally connecting the two ends of the gut).  Worse still, most people keep towels in the bathroom (near the toilet). Every flush of the toilet sends mist with millions of microbes, ranging from H.pylori,  salmonella and other deadly bacteria and viruses. When you wash your hands ready for a meal, and dry them with your body towel, there's high chance you are directly ingesting your fecal matter, or, if in a shared lavatory, someone else's faeces. THINGS EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW ABOUT FERTILITY

Most women would want to get pregnant at some point in their lives but only few really know much about fertility.
Find out everything you need to know about female fertility below
1. To get pregnant, you must have a sperm fertilize the egg after it has been released from the ovary into the Fallopian tube.
2. A 2011 study found that women whose menstrual cycles lasted fewer than 25 days were 36 percent less likely to conceive than women whose cycles were 27 to 29 days long.
3. Exercise can have an impact on your fertility. A 2012 Boston University study found that normal-weight women who did vigorous exercise for five hours a week were on average 42 percent less likely to get pregnant than those who didn’t.
4. Your fertility declines with age
5. Irregular cycles and painful periods are not normal. See a gynecologist if your menstrual cramps prevent you from living an active life because it could be a symptom of endometriosis or pelvic inflammatory disease, both of which can cause infertility.
6. Smoking harms your fertility and can make you reach menopause earlier.
7. Practice safe sex and get tested regularly because sexually transmitted diseases can lead to infertility.
8. Being overweight or underweight can affect your fertility. This is because your body produces too much estrogen when you are overweight or too little estrogen when you are underweight. Too little or too much estrogen can interfere with normal ovulation.
9. Limit alcohol intake because according to a Mayo Clinic report, heavy drinking is associated with an increased risk of ovulation disorders.
10. Sperm can survive inside the female body for up to five days.
