It proves nothing convincing people against their own opinion through arguments especially biased people. Arguments actually gets people no where but ruins friendship.
You may succeed in satisfying your ego with that thought that you won the argument but have ruined another's ego.
Just communicate or listen. It is irrelevant to argue.
This is the deal. I recently learnt the above from this book "How to win Friends and create influence" by Dale Carnegie and trust me, he nailed it.
I have been a victim of this.
You know that feeling when you are trying so hard to defend your own views and earn your respect? All those feelings are just selfish. That feeling that only satisfies your ego but ruins another.
But what is the point of even arguing when you can just communicate or better still, listen?
