A lobby group has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to skip his trail at The Hague. The group dubbed ‘Mururumo na Uhuru Mashinani’ said its member will camp at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport come November 12 to stop Uhuru from attending his International Criminal Court trial.Chairman Caleb Warari led the group on a peaceful demonstration on the streets of Nairobi on Tuesday. He said members will paralyse operations at the airport should the President decide to travel to Hague. “We will go and camp at the airport. No planes will land or leave as we are not going to let our President to be humiliated when we have a constitution that governs our sovereign state,” Wamari said.He said the ICC should drop charges against Uhuru and Deputy President William Ruto. “Kenyans have reconciled with each other and the ICC is not considerate of the Kenyan people and the court is dividing our nation,” Warari said.
