A lobby group has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to skip his trail at The Hague. The group dubbed ‘Mururumo na Uhuru Mashinani’ said its member will camp at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport come November 12 to stop Uhuru from attending his International Criminal Court trial.Chairman Caleb Warari led the group on a peaceful demonstration on the streets of Nairobi on Tuesday. He said members will paralyse operations at the airport should the President decide to travel to Hague. “We will go and camp at the airport. Trial Chamber V(b) of the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued its decision conditionally granting, the request to excuse Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta from continuous presence at his trial, scheduled to start on 12 November 2013.
