A lobby group vows to block jkia-to prevent kenyattas departure

uhuru-icc-stress.jpg A lobby group has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to skip his trail at The Hague. The group dubbed ‘Mururumo na Uhuru Mashinani’ said its member will camp at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport come November 12 to stop Uhuru from attending his International Criminal Court trial.Chairman Caleb Warari led the group on a peaceful demonstration on the streets of Nairobi on Tuesday. He said members will paralyse operations at the airport should the President decide to travel to Hague. “We will go and camp at the airport. No planes will land or leave as we are not going to let our President to be humiliated when we have a constitution that governs our sovereign state,” Wamari said.He said the ICC should drop charges against Uhuru and Deputy President William Ruto. “Kenyans have reconciled with each other and the ICC is not considerate of the Kenyan people and the court is dividing our nation,” Warari said. He said the ICC should bring back the cases to Kenya or Tanzania.“A house cannot be left without a father. Uhuru and Ruto should be left in Kenya since their lawyers can handle their cases at The Hague,” Warari said.“A house cannot be left without a father. Vice chairman of the group Wilson Mbugua said the ICC prosecution should heed the calls to drop the cases. “We can also go to The Hague and call for mass action if the prosecutor does not heed to our calls,” he said. WHERE TO BUY THINGS AT A BARGAIN IN NAIROBI

 1.Cereals – Get them in Nyamakima in that kichochoro for Molo matatus. Groundnuts from the market cost Sh190 per kilo, but at Nyamakima they are Sh110. Bulk shopping – If you can manage to go to Kawangware or Eastleigh, you will save a lot. In Kawangware, go to Samrose in the market. Alight at Mlango Soko, then at Cooperative Bank, go down and turn at the first right turn, walk about 20 metres and you will find SamRose. Go with a list, they will give you the prices. If you are buying things for a shop, they deliver. Alternatively, you can turn left and walk a bit for like 100 metres where you will find many wholesale shops including FairPrice.
