THE BITTER TRUTH, WE ARE NOT ONE:

KENYA is animal farm where all animals are equal but some are more equal than others.Events of the recent past is evidence enough that unless you are rich or you have well-connected godfathers, you are a NOTHING and NOBODY cares about you.We are not one at all. Don't be fooled. That was a mere con game to get you to use the little that you have on those who have more than you do.Look at‪#‎westgate‬. As you trooped to centres to donate your little blood (which later went to waste), as you mpesad your little money for the rich, THE BLOODY KDF WAS STEALING.But even after cctv footages confirmed this, kdf godfathers still defended them against the allegations of looting even daring anybody with evidence to the contrary to present them, irrespective of the fact that they had cordoned off the whole mall so as to loot uninterrupted. On the other hand, a police officer was hurriedly rushed to court on allegations of being found in possession of blood-stained wallet from westgate. A mortuary attendant was also arrested on allegation of stealing a gold watch from the president's nephew. What action, if any, will the bloody government take on the KDF soldiers who looted westgate? Kdf is untouchable? For the rich westgate victims, the gov't deployed Kenya Police- GSU, CID, Flying Squad, GD, Administration Police, KDF, foreign agents, police dogs, armoured military vehicles, helicopters, ambulances, firefighters and the Cabinet Secretaries Lenku and Omamo oversaw the operation personally.Meanwhile in Baragoi there is renewed cattle rustling and shooting dead of victims. Do these cattle and rustlers disappear into thin air? Where are the troops and choppers? Need I remind you of what happened to more than 40 police officers in November 2012? Oh no, those are 'insignificant'Kenyans. The Gov't intends to use the money they tax us to death for to elect a monument in memory of #westgate victims. Not that I hate them, but WHERE THE F IS THE MONUMENT FOR SINAI FIRE AND BARAGOI VICTIMS? We are one?And on matters ICC, is anybody crying and holding special interdenominational prayers for Joshua Sang, the suspect who cannot afford to fly back home at will to be with his family, a guy whose visa restrictions limit him to his hotel room and court. Is anybody concerned about the poor thousands who lost their lives, got injured, lost property and ended up going hungry and diseased in dilapidated tents? So next time you are tempted to hate a HUMAN BEING from the other tribe, remember this:* During campaign periods we are 42.*When the rich are hit below the belt we are one.* All these other times we are two; the filthy rich and the miserable poor.

Take care of yourself__"The first wealth is health".

By Strive Masiyiwa  A few weeks ago I went to the doctor. I will tell you what he said about my health at the end, but first read this: Twenty years ago, I arranged to meet a well-known British international businessman who invested a lot in Africa at the time. We agreed to meet for dinner at a leading hotel in London.  After a good meeting, we started to walk out of the restaurant when he suddenly collapsed in the lobby. There was total pandemonium as they rushed to get medical assistance. Being London, an ambulance arrived in minutes. I jumped in the back with him as paramedics wrestled to keep him alive. He had had a heart attack and had to have triple bypass heart surgery. Sadly he died a few weeks later. He hadn't been sick and his sudden death surprised everyone. And yet as I reflected on it, and later discussed it with a doctor friend who knew him, I realized he was very laid back about his health despite having a hectic business life. Even during our dinner...

Mr. Riley was already there when they arrived, sitting on the sand, eyes closed in a deep meditation. He was shirtless, wearing camouflage-patterned shorts similar to the ones The Spellbinder styled the day he appeared on the beach and a pair of rubber diving booties with smiley face emojis scattered over them. You would have been more than amused if you saw him in them. An assistant rushed out of the billionaire’s home the instant he raised a hand toward the heavens, displaying the universal victory sign. Three crisp pages of paper were effic...

MOURNING THE ONLY PRINCIPAL I KNEW

By Dr.Paul Bundi Karau I arrived at Kanyakine High School on 18th February 1999 a small village boy. I had never been to a boarding school, and certainly this is the furthest from home I had ever gone. The boys who were assigned to escort me to Mungania dorm looked at my stunted height and loudly wondered how I would survive in Beast's school.  "Who is Beast?" I asked in bewilderment. "You will know." Musyoki answered curtly. It didn't take me long to know who Beast was. The following day, as the 10 o'clock tea was being served, I heard a commotion, with boys leaving their tea and running helter-skelter towards the classrooms.  I was a fresh mono, so I didn't know what was happening. I ran along the pavement, and came upon a mighty man, who appeared to be adjusting his trousers. He yanked his belt and thrust one whip towards me. I had encountered Beast himself. He was tall, imposing, burly and endowed with a thunderous voice that could re...
