How often do you wash your towel? Some people wash once a week, while some, once a year. The towel is a fertile breeding ground for millions of microbes, especially those found on human skin and on the gut. No wonder the towel is one of the objects that facilitate fecal-oral contamination (literally connecting the two ends of the gut). Worse still, most people keep towels in the bathroom (near the toilet). Every flush of the toilet sends mist with millions of microbes, ranging from H.pylori, salmonella and other deadly bacteria and viruses. When you wash your hands ready for a meal, and dry them with your body towel, there's high chance you are directly ingesting your fecal matter, or, if in a shared lavatory, someone else's faeces. Unless cleaned well, viruses such as human papillomavirus (causes warts, anal cancer and cervical cancer) can be transmitted when towels are shared with infected individuals. So, what to do? 1. 1. Every church must have a thermometer gun.
2. Have a lot of hand washing stations (at least 3)
3. Every church must be marked for social distancing
4. Sanitizer must be provided at the entrances.
5. Washroom - must be fumigated after every use.
6. Only two services, strictly one hour. After every service the whole church must be washed.
7. Mark every sit must be with contact and the names .
8. No baptism,
9. Holy communion, everyone must pick for themselves. The arrangements has to be far apart.
10. No direct interaction. Singing, no coming in front of church (choirs presentation - either mark the stage or stop the presentations)
11. Register people and their contacts everyone attending the church. People should seat according to the register.
12. The seats should be one meter apart.
13. Set apart a room for isolation.
14. Ventilations should be sufficient.
15. Children below 2 years should not attend the church.
16. Everyone in the church should wear face masks. Recommended surgical masks or N96 for pastors.
17. Can allow outside service only if there is enough space. Number is unlimited
18. 65 years old and above should stay at home. Or have a separate service for them.
Temperature:- 37 degrees is the maximum
Sharing of materials in church should be prevented, eg mic. If it has to be shared it has to be sanitized.
