9 TRAITS OF HIGHLY CONFIDENT PEOPLE

Being highly confident isn’t a trait that comes up on its own; it’s something you choose to become and it’s something that becomes a part of you after a series of habits and events.
Highly confident people weren’t just born highly confident, they became it, and these are some of the traits they have.
1. THEY UNDERSTAND THAT MISTAKES ARE ONLY A PART OF LEARNING
While others beat themselves up for making a mistake, highly confident people pick themselves up and learn from their mistakes. They see mistakes as a chance to learn and they get better for this.
2. THEY ARE THINKERS
Highly confident people don’t just sit and mope around; they are thinkers — they might not be the most intelligent in the room, but they are sure to use their brains.
3. THEY LISTEN
Really, empty vessels make the loudest noise. Highly confident people aren’t really talkative, but they are good listeners and in listening comes knowledge. Talkativeness is just a show off to cover the emptiness that exist within.
4. THEY TAKE GOOD CARE OF THEMSELVES
Naturally, you feel more confident when you are healthy, in shape and well taken care of. It isn’t magic, it’s just a natural occurrence — and confident people know this and take good care of themselves.
5. THEY ARE DREAMERS
Confident people are dreamers; they have goals and vision — and this spurs them on to achieve greatness.
6. THEY KNOW WHAT THEY WANT IN LIFE
Highly confident people know what they want in life and they go for it; you feel assured when you know what you want. It’s like entering into a building that you know too well, you would definitely feel assured compared to when you enter another building that you don’t know at all.
7. THEY TRUST THEIR INSTINCTS
Highly confident people aren’t afraid to go with their guts; over time they have learnt to trust their instincts — and guess what? It works for them.
8. THEY ARE RISK TAKERS
Highly confident people aren’t afraid of taking risks, they aren’t afraid of taking a chance and they aren’t afraid of failure. They don’t really make rash decisions but they hate being held bound and they understand the difference between risks and gambling.
9. THEY CELEBRATE THEIR SUCCESS
Highly confident people take the time to soak it all in, celebrate their success and also celebrate the success of others.
Highly confident people didn’t become that confident overnight, but they learnt how to be by making the right choices and learning the right traits.

Take care of yourself__"The first wealth is health".

By Strive Masiyiwa  A few weeks ago I went to the doctor. I will tell you what he said about my health at the end, but first read this: Twenty years ago, I arranged to meet a well-known British international businessman who invested a lot in Africa at the time. We agreed to meet for dinner at a leading hotel in London.  After a good meeting, we started to walk out of the restaurant when he suddenly collapsed in the lobby. There was total pandemonium as they rushed to get medical assistance. Being London, an ambulance arrived in minutes. I jumped in the back with him as paramedics wrestled to keep him alive. He had had a heart attack and had to have triple bypass heart surgery. Sadly he died a few weeks later. He hadn't been sick and his sudden death surprised everyone. And yet as I reflected on it, and later discussed it with a doctor friend who knew him, I realized he was very laid back about his health despite having a hectic business life. Even during our dinner...
