There’s always something I can do to achieve my dreams. ALWAYS.
If I do it today, tomorrow and everyday, the efforts will compound to a miracle called success.
You can start small, but make sure you start now because time is a limiting factor.
Les Brown tells that you don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.
It might be reading just a chapter of a book or writing 100 words or running for few minutes or training for an hour etcetera, whatever it is, if you do it consistently you’ll be where you plan to be. Just one thing.
Bruce Lee remarks, “Long term consistency is greater than short term intensity.” Just work on it overtime and develop yourself.
I will say whatever success you attain is worth every effort put and the sacrifices made. The drops will someday fill the bucket, the hammering will someday break the rock. Just do it daily and consistently and when you succeed, you’ll be glad you didn’t stop at any time.
By Strive Masiyiwa A few weeks ago I went to the doctor. I will tell you what he said about my health at the end, but first read this: Twenty years ago, I arranged to meet a well-known British international businessman who invested a lot in Africa at the time. There was total pandemonium as they rushed to get medical assistance. Being London, an ambulance arrived in minutes. I jumped in the back with him as paramedics wrestled to keep him alive. He had had a heart attack and had to have triple bypass heart surgery. Sadly he died a few weeks later. He hadn't been sick and his sudden death surprised everyone. And yet as I reflected on it, and later discussed it with a doctor friend who knew him, I realized he was very laid back about his health despite having a hectic business life. Even during our dinner...
