TO LIVE OR TO DIE

By Dr Paul Bundi Human beings are endowed with remarkable resilience, which can only be broken when they choose to give up. Says Viktor Frankl in his seminal book, Man's Search for Meaning; ''it is a peculiarity of man that he can only live by looking to the future-sub specie aeternitatis. And this is his salvation in thd most difficult moments of his existence, although he sometimes has to force his mind to the task.'' Man's life is primarily driven by the desire for future, the unshakable belief that the future holds promise. We invariably cease to live when we think we have hit a dead end, or that there's nothing more to be had by living. Theoretically, there is no limit to man's achievement, and that is what drives men to wake up and strive day after day. The opposite is spiritual, psychological death, which manifests way ahead of physical death. Lesson? Losing today doesn't mean losing always. You can lose 10 times and win the 11th time. Or, you

Long and short of this is that deputy president has positioned himself as the most suitable political leader to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta. *Below are some of the reasons;* *1. Why Somali Muslims are taking over Nairobi CBD

I have overheard complaints from businessmen and scholars arguing that the Oria/Somali Muslims are taking over Nairobi CBD . Yes they are. Boss how can you compete this people? They are like Indians. They practice socialism and work as a family. When was the last time you called your uncle, aunt, cousin or in law? Imagine they call each other daily and work together as your colleagues at work. You are waiting to invest from your salary? Well, they don’t wait, they call each other and work in handy. One man is married to 4 wives. One wife is selling baby clothes in Eastleigh and in wholesale making Kshs. 8,000 a day. The 2nd wife is selling gas and running a shop in Donholm making Kshs. 5,000 a day. The 3rd wife makes people tea and lunch in Eastleigh making a profit of 4,000 a day and the last one is selling men’s and women’s wear in Eastleigh making a profit of Kshs. 10,000 a day. How much goes to his account before we include his petrol station in South B or his cloth line in

Just do it-Everyday

There’s always something I can do to achieve my dreams. ALWAYS. If I do it today, tomorrow and everyday, the efforts will compound to a miracle called success. You can start small, but make sure you start now because time is a limiting factor. Les Brown tells that you don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great. It might be reading just a chapter of a book or writing 100 words or running for few minutes or training for an hour etcetera, whatever it is, if you do it consistently you’ll be where you plan to be. Just one thing. Bruce Lee remarks, “Long term consistency is greater than short term intensity.” Just work on it overtime and develop yourself. I will say whatever success you attain is worth every effort put and the sacrifices made. The drops will someday fill the bucket, the hammering will someday break the rock. Just do it daily and consistently and when you succeed, you’ll be glad you didn’t stop at any time.

Thurakus' open letter to president kenyatta

```DEAR MR PRESIDENT Your Exellency sir. The song of runaway corruption has been sung and become more popular than the "  Waka waka " world cup anthem. Thuraku's have already given a sign... We are tired and wearly of being tired. Sir you'll not be running for presidency on 2022. Your charisma has won the hearts of majority Kenyans since your first term. You have ensured that the Chief Architect of the 21st century Kenya(His Excellency Mwai Kibaki) projects have been implemented. Kibaki was the midfielder that passed you the ball ,you played well and kicked the ball scoring an infrustructural goal. We can see the roads We enjoy electrical connections We ride in the SGR with swag We enjoy financial incentives that have revolutionalised doing business in this Country. FPE . . . We can make hymns in great volumes than the Golden Bells in your praise. However as Joseph Kariuki Wa Kiarutara put it in his song " Mataraga maimwo matitaraga maheo"
