CHARACTERS THAT WILL MAKE PEOPLE NOT TO TRUST YOU

Humans are quick to place judgement on someone, and when you have judgment about someone, it’s usually difficult to change your opinion or judgement about that person.
Speaking of trust, you are either trustworthy or untrustworthy; it’s people’s judgement about your character which you’ve exhibited, either knowingly or unknowingly that will make them trust you or not.
Why do you think you trust someone and cannot trust another person?
These characters below make you untrustworthy:
1. YOU ARE SELF-CENTRED
I’ve never seen a self-centred person who’s trustworthy. When you are self-centred, you think more about yourself and less of others and would likely jeopardise other people’s interests for yours alone. This will make people not to trust you. Selfish people are never trustworthy.
2. YOU DON’T KEEP YOUR PROMISES
Human beings tend to believe what they see. When you say something and don’t do it, you lose people’s trust.
3. YOU LIE
Lying will definitely kill the trust people have for you, and the more lies you tell the more they lose trust in you. No one ever trusts a liar.
4. YOU TALK TOO MUCH
People who are talkative and gossips are in this group; they can never be trusted. They know how to do one thing — not to keep a secret. Also, they tend to talk about things they shouldn’t — and this makes people take them less serious.
5. YOU ARE INCONSISTENT
Inconsistency is another thing that could cause distrust. People need you to be consistent before they can warm up to you; when you mix up good and bad, lies and truth, diligence and laziness — you make it risky to be trusted.
6. YOU TALK BAD ABOUT PEOPLE
No one loves to be talked bad about. When you talk bad about other people, you pass an information that you can as well talk bad about the person you’re talking to. People who talk bad about other people are never trustworthy people.
7. YOU AREN’T ACCOUNTABLE
You have to be accountable for your decisions, whether right or wrong. When you aren’t accountable, there wouldn’t be trust.
8. YOU HAVE ANGER ISSUES
Anger issues could also kill trust. If you get angry too easily and lack self-control, you become a hazard to trust.
9. YOU NEVER ACCEPT YOUR MISTAKES
Trust isn’t about being perfect; making mistakes, accepting them and learning from it also breeds trust. But when you never accept your mistake and apologise for it, people won’t trust you.
10. YOU ALWAYS CLAIM TO BE RIGHT
The people who claim to know everything and be right about everything — that is, the self-acclaimed perfect people tend to kill the trust people have for them.
11. YOU LACK FOCUS
When people see you as lazy, unserious, irresponsible, uncommitted and one who lacks focus, they’d never trust you.
12. YOU ARE ILL-MANNERED
Ill-mannered people are never trusted too. Their bad manners give people a negative perception about them, and that’s what kills the trust.
Do people find it hard to trust you? It never goes beyond these reasons.

Take care of yourself__"The first wealth is health".

By Strive Masiyiwa  A few weeks ago I went to the doctor. I will tell you what he said about my health at the end, but first read this: Twenty years ago, I arranged to meet a well-known British international businessman who invested a lot in Africa at the time. We agreed to meet for dinner at a leading hotel in London.  After a good meeting, we started to walk out of the restaurant when he suddenly collapsed in the lobby. There was total pandemonium as they rushed to get medical assistance. Being London, an ambulance arrived in minutes. I jumped in the back with him as paramedics wrestled to keep him alive. He had had a heart attack and had to have triple bypass heart surgery. Sadly he died a few weeks later. He hadn't been sick and his sudden death surprised everyone. And yet as I reflected on it, and later discussed it with a doctor friend who knew him, I realized he was very laid back about his health despite having a hectic business life. Even during our dinner...

Mr. Riley was already there when they arrived, sitting on the sand, eyes closed in a deep meditation. He was shirtless, wearing camouflage-patterned shorts similar to the ones The Spellbinder styled the day he appeared on the beach and a pair of rubber diving booties with smiley face emojis scattered over them. You would have been more than amused if you saw him in them. An assistant rushed out of the billionaire’s home the instant he raised a hand toward the heavens, displaying the universal victory sign. Three crisp pages of paper were effic...

THE CROWN YOU CARRY: A Letter to My LOVELY Daughter FROM THE HEART OF A MOTHER

My Dearest Daughter, As the sun rises over the hills of Limuru, casting golden rays upon the dew-kissed tea leaves, my heart swells with pride, hope, and the wisdom only a mother can carry. You, my beautiful girl, are in school, and while the world sees a student in uniform, I see a queen in the making. I see the grace of your grandmother, the fire of your ancestors, and the promise of a bright African dawn glowing in your eyes. This Easter, God granted me the sweet joy of bonding with you—not just as a mother—but as a woman who has walked a little further on this winding road of life. You may not know it yet, but in those laughter-filled mornings and quiet evening chats, a legacy was passed on: not of gold or silver, but of values, vision, and virtue. Let me speak to your soul now, daughter of mine. Listen with your spirit. In this life, my sweet child, “a child who does not listen to the mother’s advice will sleep with the flies” — a Ghanaian proverb as old as wisdom itself. The worl...
