Kenya Interior CS, PS join twitter, facebook and Whatsapp to promote interaction

The Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government Gen Joseph Nkaisserry and his Interior State Department Principal Secretary Dr Karanja Kibicho have joined social media in an effort to promote interaction with the public and safeguard the country.
They are now found on twitter, facebook, google plus, Whatsapp and instagram. Gen Nkaisserry can now be reached at his twitter handle @GenNkaisserry while Dr Kibicho can be reached at @Karanjakibicho, email and other social media platforms.
This will add to the ministry’s twitter handle @InteriorKE and Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet’s @JBoinnet in a move aimed at securing the country. The google plus accounts for the CS and PS include cs@interior.go.ke and ps@interior.go.ke while their facebook accounts are @GenNkaisserry and @Drkaranjakibicho.
The ministry has also given two Whatsapp numbers for the public to use in reporting cases or asking questions. They are +254 719 777 719 and +254 780 719 750. “Interact with CS @GenNkaisserry and PS @Karanjakibicho on email and social media platforms. #SecureKE,” tweeted InteriorCNG Ministry on its twitter handle @InteriorKE.
No soon had the twitter accounts been declared public than a flurry of questions started following in fast.
