Interesting things to know about the towel

How often do you wash your towel? Some people wash once a week, while some, once a year. The towel is a fertile breeding ground for millions of microbes, especially those found on human skin and on the gut.  No wonder the towel is one of the objects that facilitate fecal-oral contamination (literally connecting the two ends of the gut).  Worse still, most people keep towels in the bathroom (near the toilet). Every flush of the toilet sends mist with millions of microbes, ranging from H.pylori,  salmonella and other deadly bacteria and viruses. When you wash your hands ready for a meal, and dry them with your body towel, there's high chance you are directly ingesting your fecal matter, or, if in a shared lavatory, someone else's faeces. Unless cleaned well, viruses such as human papillomavirus (causes warts, anal cancer and cervical cancer) can be transmitted when towels are shared with infected individuals. So, what to do? 1. KDF deployed its airforce immediately {The Kenya Army’s 50 th air cavalry division (50-ACB)} and killed over a hundred Al Shabaab fighters even before they left El Adde. By Friday noon, KDF had launched more than 10 airstrikes against Al Shabaab hideouts in Gedo region. Local residents confirmed that bodies of hundreds of Al Shabaab attackers were lying in the streets after heavy bombardment by Kenya Air Force (KAF) jets. Meanwhile, KDF’s 9 th Kenya Rifles D Company in El Adde, Somalia, has released a statement saying that they will not be shaken by the latest Al Shabaab attack saying they are ready to die protecting Kenya and the people of Somali against the extremist group. “Dying protecting our country and saving our neighbors from plunder is the ultimate victory. We did not enlist in the army to drive the tanks and sling M4s, but to fight for our motherland, Kenya,” the statement read.
