Porn-site extortionist imprisoned

KINGSTON, Jamaica - Accused porn-site mastermind Ronald Oates has been sentenced to 12 months imprisonment. Oates was sentenced this week in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court following an earlier guilty plea. The 30-year-old Oates allegedly posted nude photographs of women on the Internet and is accused of extorting more than $100,000 from victims to remove the offending pictures.
