How often do you wash your towel? Some people wash once a week, while some, once a year. The towel is a fertile breeding ground for millions of microbes, especially those found on human skin and on the gut. No wonder the towel is one of the objects that facilitate fecal-oral contamination (literally connecting the two ends of the gut). Worse still, most people keep towels in the bathroom (near the toilet). Former Presidential candidate‚ Martha Karua ‚ has lambasted Uhuru Kenyatta over the sacking and subsequent arrest of a senior Government officer who abused him in a bar in Lamu. Donald Avunde‚ a senior Forestry Officer who hails from Busia County but works in Lamu ‚ was sacked and arrested after he allegedly abused President Uhuru Kenyatta while drunk during a debate in one of the popular pubs in Lamu. His interdiction caused uproar among fellow civil servants in Lamu who faulted Uhuru/ Ruto’s Government of bringing back the KANU regime where no one could question the President. On her twitter account‚ Karua faulted Uhuru Kenyatta and his Jubilee Government saying the senior officer did nothing wrong because he was just expressing his freedom of expression which is enshrined in the Constitution.
