Gem MP, Jakoyo Midiwo, has sensationally said all Kikuyus have been engulfed with fear ahead of the return of former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, to the country on Saturday. At a press conference on Wednesday, Midiwo broke into laughter when he said a particular community is panicking because Raila Odinga is coming back on Saturday after a three month political tour of the US. He said he was shocked to learn that the Kikuyu fears Raila Odinga the same way they fear the almighty God. “Raila Ni Kiboko Yao, they will now tore the line,” Midiwo said. “Many of them have panicked including their leader Uhuru Kenyatta and that is why they were trying to ban CORD political rallies,” Midiwo added. Midiwo spoke after the Inspector General of Police, David Kimaiyo, allowed CORD to hold their rally on Saturday despite his previous ban on all political rallies. The Saturday’s rally will coincide with the homecoming party of Raila Odinga who is currently in Dubai enroute from US, where he was attending a political forum at Boston University.
