All The Westgate “Stolen” Money by KDF, Has Been Returned to Banks: Declares Chirchir

Mr. Emmanuel Chirchir has confirmed that all the money that the KDF soldiers looted has been safely returned to the banks.
He confirmed that:*”Over Sh300 million has so far been recovered and repatriated to Westgate Mall tenants.Mr Chirchir also noted that it would also be good to list shops that were vandalized. Out of the 80 shops, so far only the Bata shop has confirmed that its shop remained intact.
Question is who exactly vandalized the stores and from whom was the Ksh. 300 million recovered?
After citizens persisted in raising questions on the conduct of KDF troops and on the money looted, Mr. Chirchir has now confirmed that Kshs.300 million was returned to the following banks:
1. Barclays Bank – Ksh. 68 million
2. Diamond Trust Bank – Ksh.65 million
3. CFC Stanbic – Ksh.32 million
4. Kenya Commercial Bank – Ksh. 31 million),
5. ATMs – Ksh30 million
6. Millionaires Casino – Ksh. 50 million
