Interesting things to know about the towel

How often do you wash your towel? Some people wash once a week, while some, once a year. The towel is a fertile breeding ground for millions of microbes, especially those found on human skin and on the gut.  No wonder the towel is one of the objects that facilitate fecal-oral contamination (literally connecting the two ends of the gut).  Worse still, most people keep towels in the bathroom (near the toilet). Every flush of the toilet sends mist with millions of microbes, ranging from H.pylori,  salmonella and other deadly bacteria and viruses. When you wash your hands ready for a meal, and dry them with your body towel, there's high chance you are directly ingesting your fecal matter, or, if in a shared lavatory, someone else's faeces. Unless cleaned well, viruses such as human papillomavirus (causes warts, anal cancer and cervical cancer) can be transmitted when towels are shared with infected individuals. So, what to do? 1. Launder towels once a week. 2. Use hot water and det...

Jumwa’s actions were uncouth, uncalled for, and backward.

Jumwa’s actions were uncouth, uncalled for, and backward. Utoto gani hii 2019? But thanks to Sifuna for keeping his cool and being the bigger man in the house.

It was unnecessary for Jumwa to intercept and grab the microphone from Sifuna’s mouth. Sifuna is a politician. Give a politician a microphone, he or she will talk about nothing but politics related to his party. Politicians talk politics (all the time) in churches, mosques, weddings, funerals, birthday parties et cetera. Having been given a podium, Jumwa did not expect Sifuna to start singing luhya hymns, did she? He was to talk about ODM and policies that guide his party and party actions. In other words, he has got to sell his party given any opportunity.

Eti “heshimu mijikenda.” I have read mijikenda funeral stories but haven’t come across a thing that prohibits people from speaking politics at a funeral. In any case, a) one can mourn the way he or she knows best b) that was a funeral of a father to a politician. Heshimu mijikenda when she obviously played cheap slayqueen-like politics at a mijikenda funeral, thereby embarrassing mijikenda guests? Ama mijikenda hujizika peke yao? Mkeka ni mkeka tu wa kulaliwa na mtu yeyote.

Imagine if Edwin Sifuna would have been the one grabbing the mic from Aisha Jumwa.

Tungepata Ile lecture ya "disrespect to women"

By humbly walking away,Edwin Sifuna portrayed utmost sense of maturity.

The embattled Malindi MP expected him to fight with her or do anything to her and then the entire country could be on his neck for being violent..

Her Intention was to provoke Edwin Sifuna to act negatively after snatching the microphone from him, then pull the usual Victimization Card against women. It flopped big time.

You're one in a million ODM Sec Gen Edwin Sifuna!

In future, God will protect men from toxic women.
