Interesting things to know about the towel

How often do you wash your towel? Some people wash once a week, while some, once a year. The towel is a fertile breeding ground for millions of microbes, especially those found on human skin and on the gut.  No wonder the towel is one of the objects that facilitate fecal-oral contamination (literally connecting the two ends of the gut).  Worse still, most people keep towels in the bathroom (near the toilet). Every flush of the toilet sends mist with millions of microbes, ranging from H.pylori,  salmonella and other deadly bacteria and viruses. When you wash your hands ready for a meal, and dry them with your body towel, there's high chance you are directly ingesting your fecal matter, or, if in a shared lavatory, someone else's faeces. Unless cleaned well, viruses such as human papillomavirus (causes warts, anal cancer and cervical cancer) can be transmitted when towels are shared with infected individuals. So, what to do? 1. Launder towels once a week. 2. Use hot water and det...

AU MUST NOW SPEAK WITH ONE VOICE ON ICC

As we head to the AU heads of state meeting next week I will lobby vigorously for the Kenyan cases to be terminated . Fatou Bensouda is going to be present in Addis Ababa and I will tell her in her face to look at Article 53 and terminate the case so as to save her already dented image . The Kenyan cases must be dropped or terminated if ICC is to regain any confidence from
Africans who will gather in Addis Ababa next week. Reasons for terminating the case.
FLAWED investigations . first, at AU we shall tell the world that the prosecution is against a democratically elected African leader, currently in office. Second, the publicity drive that announced the case led to the media immediately pronouncing guilt of the accused .Third all key witnesses were procured by NGOs, in turn in receipt of funding from European governments well known for being against Kenya politically. And finally, all of those witnesses have gone on to recant or to contradict their original testimony at trial, or refuse to appear at all because they were coached by ICC initially
In most normal courts of law in Britain where justice is the shield of democracy my Kenyan brothers would have a case to answer. But supported by NGOs and media campaigns, along with many European major financiers, - which have never shied from expressing their dislike for Jubilee administration - the ICC cases stumbles on, further undermining the little credibility left in the court and exposing double standards.
ICC needs to reform the OTP and Audit OTP .
This situation cannot continue if the ICC is to develop into a serious and respected instrument of global justice. My stand against Fatou Bensouda is to put her on trial with Ocampo for the damage they caused to suspects and victims after they flawed investigations by taking wrong suspects to The Hague. will tell her in her face that she should let the flawed Kenyan cases to go.
