Interesting things to know about the towel

How often do you wash your towel? Some people wash once a week, while some, once a year. The towel is a fertile breeding ground for millions of microbes, especially those found on human skin and on the gut.  No wonder the towel is one of the objects that facilitate fecal-oral contamination (literally connecting the two ends of the gut).  Worse still, most people keep towels in the bathroom (near the toilet). State Hose Spokesperson Manoah Esipisu has come out to defend devolution CS saying she is not under any investigations. The devolution ministry where NYS falls is under her but despite the sh800 scandal involving NYS, the CS has put on a brave face, buoyed by both ethnic and government support right from the Presidency. Addressing a Press Conference, Esipisu said it is the CS who first invited CID when she was informed of the scandalous payments. At the same, Treasury cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich has defended IFMIS, the government’s procurement software at the centre of the NYS scam. Mr Rotich assured the Public Accounts Committee on Thursday that the Integrated Financial Management Information Systems (IFMIS) was robust and internationally tested. “We would not have been able to detect the NYS issue (had it not been) for the efficient audit trail generated by Ifmis,” he said.
